Podblogging.com and Tracy May Be Wanted by the Parole Board!

Podblogging.com is new, about two days old and I was one of the first who tried as a “tester” and then got my own subdomain there too.

Seems a rather cozy place at the moment, and the admi seems tolerant of anything. The initial (because we are all new) seem to share extraordinaty comeraderie like helping each other on the site.

The idea of podblogging.com , from what I figure is that one can blog and podcast at the same time which isn’t a bad idea.Plus music and video streams are allowed and yes, the first crowd seem to be rather radical! One blogger, Vikki, seemed to express her views about a supposed paying site (a very popular one!) which turned out a dud.

There is also no such thing as political correctness over thre – not that I am a mean person, but too much “political correctness” seems to be downright boring! There is noticeably “ther free expression” of cultural differences, but that is exactly why the site is rather humorous at times.

The weirdest post there however is that of “Dwayne” who misses his wife, Tracey Lee — cracks me up to read how he moans and pleads fo her to come back.

Dwayne has style. He recalls how he fell in love with his T.L. when she was in prison and how he worries that the parole board may be after her. The fact that I follow up his insane blog probably means that there is something else to blogging than pure crisp information and the right English.It’s hot, funny, and I think it could be a good continuing saga of laughs and it would certainly make be happier if indeed, Dwayne comes come to TL.

What suckers we are:) Romance with a lotsa laughs always get most hits. No matter how hilariously mad!

Behind Every Computer is a Human Heart

I am blogging while waiting for Diane. She has been my friend for the last seven years and she lives somewhere in Upper Michigan where there seems to be a storm. It worries me. I miss her because usually at this hour, we're chatting on my yahoo messenger, exchanging emoticons or just making each other feel that "I am here". Now, she isn't. That almost makes me feel extremely alone tonight. I guess that friendship is a ritual in a sense. There is the ritual of waiting in the computer and knowing that she will be there and we usually end the chats with "take care".

Now, she still isn't here. It makes me think that internet friendships are as real – and even more so- than "near" relationships.

Behind every computer is a human being, with a heart just like Diane and mine. We share, care, "whisper" secrets we would dare tell no one. I would even venture to say that computer friendships are a lot more real than the "usual" ones because you can dare be completely transparent to a total stranger the first time that you "meet".Then day to day you find out more about each other the more without having to worry if you have the right make-up on.Then, the days become years and both of you are still there.

Exupery said. "it is the time that you spend with your rose that makes it important". It is the time I spent with Diane that makes her important to me. She is my friend. I can come up with a single emoticon and she would know what I exactly mean. She can tell me one word, and I would know it's a cue. She is completely that best friend that I wish were here nearer to me. She is the one I wait and pray for during times like this when she isn't on my yahoo messenger.

Thus, I blog. And wait. Her friendship makes me happy so I guess, part of the "deal", is that one's heart must be a little heavy at times because isn't that part of caring for someone?

Why isn't she here yet.

Thus I am still waiting as I am sure all her friends are, hoping that she pops up even for a while to tell us that she's alright.

I still wait. Because I care. It's a ritual. Then maybe, she yet will make me smile again today and it would be all worth the wait.

So Sick of the Question “Why does God make me starve?”

As you read this, you are alive- be thankful to God.You or I could have been dead yesterday.If you can type one sentence HERE, that means you have at least one working head and that you can think.
If you happen to be starving, you are NOT the only one in the world. Maybe I can say that because I am not starving but the heat is terrible and it is summer and I can ask does God love me? I feel a blanket of humidilty over me when I could be in a cooler place. In short, I could blame God for every ill in the world !
But I was thinking about LOVE – the love of Jesus. How dare can I (not you, that's your problem) ask Him "do you really love me?".
After blood and sweat broke forth in the garden,because He knew He was going to get tortured like an animal for ME (and you) and while He was stressing (talk about stress) over the coldness and cruelty he would have to face – to the point that his humanity cried out, "Father, IF IT IS POSSIBLE, LET THIS CUP PASS FROM ME, yet not my will but yours be done"
He did that for me and you. He could have said "Father , I am stressing too much… I want an out". But he loved.
Imagine now the arrest, the mockery – He was spat upon by his own creatures? (Thank God I was not Him or I would have called a lightning bolt!) Imagine the pain of being crowned with DRY thick thorns (about 4 inches) forced into His head? Flagged with a Roman whip made of leather split in the ends in 3 with small broken glass and sharp metals on it… imagine that every scourge went around his body and TORE His flesh like pieces of scrap clothes. And if it were not enough, imagine your His broken body, His already bloated face, weak body
forced to carry a cross. Does God love us? Imagine that moment when His wrists were spiked with those nails and his feet likewise pinned to the tree in the most extreme manner of human cruelty. Imagine how he could not breath, because he was hanging and you ask if God loves us? Imagine TRYING to speak love even as you can't breath…. and then the thrust of the sword on His heart. Does He love us? If so, why are people starving, why is it so hot today, why didn't I win the lottery, why? why? why?
If He didn't love you and me, He could have destroyed the whole of His creation and made a "better specie" of us all (the perfect race, the robots who would follow Him ) but he did NOT. Because He didn't die for robots. Because He wanted to give us the choice of loving Him back even IF HE HAD no choice because He is Love.
Does God love us? Yes. Unquestionably.

Why do some starve, because some choose to be greedy or lazy. It was not God's choice.

Yeshua is Alive and He Loves Me!

Three days and nights in the tomb after the MOST gruesome torture no one expected Jesus to be the subject of news, blogs, books or anything 2000 or so years later. The fact that people are still writing about Him can only mean that His story didn't END after his burial. Or else, He would have lived a rather "incomplete" life. He would be a "loser" — but NO loser can change human history MORE than Alexander the Great, Napoleon,Ceasar.. and every other so-called grear name in history MORE than Jesus of Nazareth.

What is IT about Jesus of Nazareth?

I mean, even the story of his resurrection was "extraordinary". The first witness was a rehabilitated prostitute who spread the word around that even His disciples who were "in hiding" thought that she was probably hysterical.

That was until He appeared to them– and He appeared to them more than once or twice. My favorite however was when his disciples decided to go fishing and they had no catch for the day until "someone" appeared and told them to drop the net on the right side of the boat. They did and the net was filled with fishes. That was a point when Peter KNEW that was Jesus and hhe ran to Him despite the fact that he had denied him thrice— I can imagine how Peter felt when he was asked thrice " Do you love me …." Then he gets appointed as leader! I mean…. Jesus appointed people who were as fickle and you and me for "extraordinary feats".

Then he appeared again and again.. once, he ate bread and fishes. Nice to know we still can eat when we get our "glorified bodies".

Jesus appared to 500 people plus his apostles and friends and with more than 500 witnesses, I know that he did rise from the dead. They could NOT have been ALL hallucinating at different periods of time.

Later, He even appeared to Saul, who became Paul.

IF the case of the resurrection of Jesus Christ was tried today under the same laws, the jury would have to come to the conclusion that THERE IS NO REASONABLE DOUBT this happened.

Then the coward Peter became the most courageous apostle – to the point of having himself crucified upside down. So was the case of John (whom Jesus loved) who was a jailbird all his life — also tortured and beaten often.

Then much later, when Jesus appeared to Paul. He became the first worldworld evangelist. IF Jesus did NOT rise from the dead WHY would all these people go through all the miseries of LIFE for a cause they didn't believe in?

I would not die for a LIE. I would not die burning in oil to light Nero's "night" all because I believed in something I am NOT sure of. I would not give my body to the lions…. but THEY did!

They did because they knew in their heart that He is risen! And so shall we be!!!! THIS is the day when we celebrate OUR eternal life because HE is risen! Because they SAW Him again and touched Him again.We did not, but we too believe and I know he gives those who have never seen Him yet believe in Him a lot more "faith credits".

Because he said. "Ye shall live !!!" —- rejoice in that thought and celebrate everyday with joy. Death is dead. Yeshua is LORD!

Abraham's tomb is in Jerusalem.Mohammed's body is buried in a tomb in Mecca. Jesus' tomb is empty. I rest my case forevermore.

Be with me when summer rain refuses to hide my tears

when hearts are too far for human hands to reach

Be with me when I am alone and afraid to live

when I know you are THERE yet do not seem to believe

People Blogging for Pennies?

Everyone these days seem to be blogging for pennies or nothing at all. The start typing with huge hopes that they will soon be making hundreds a month IF they do nothing but blog their time away.

I am not saying that it doesn't work because it does.Blogitive.com is ONE of the best that pays weekly. No need to wait for 25 dollars, if they approve your sensibly written blog, they do pay. Helium Knowledge pays too – but is it worth the exhaustion?

This made me think of why people would go through blogging at 4 cents an entry when you could probably get more than 4 cents OFF your budget buy cutting off a single coupon from HERE. You save a dollar right away HERE when you get that bodywash plus toiletries. If you are on a kitchen budget try this and that means 40 cents "earned".Better still get a free discount card.

The money you save is the same as the money you earn. You get 40 cents for an hour of blogging when you can get to save a dollars keeping track of coupons and freebies. You even get free samples by the way

What is the logic in fighting and blogging and posting for cents when the money you save is the same as the money you earn? Have you ever thought about that?

Think about that next time you check your adsense account!

Helium Knowledge? Duh? What Knowldege?

I make it a point to always be fair, and as I have said before, Helium Knowledge does pay but you need an Advil to get through making a buck which sometimes isn't exactly worth it. I have referred some of my friends here who are tired of HK questions and answers because we really do not want to answer questions like a 3rd rate copy of "google" and because when we do answer the questions, we get "bashed" — even If it is entirely because we are trying to be humorous to amuse ourselves. I hope that HUMOR was tolerated, at least! But anyway, I have also "passed" the blogcritic site and decided to rant and rave there instead. I know that most or some of you here are Helium members and I invite you to TAKE A LOOK at the critique, though I would have to admit that when I wrote it, I was quite "angry". Blogitive by the way is also great, pays people to put LINKS on their blogs! The latest offer is about BB Guns and Mothers Day Flowers! This place is good because of its HUMOR. I can't live without laughs and the jokes — and I feel that here, one if free to take oneself "not-too-seriously" and say ANYTHING FUNNY! Somomon said, "Laughter is the best medicine!" Still, thinking about who invented the airplane… King Ravana?

Point of Views Can Be Funny :)

POV— that means Point of Views. That is what makes us different from the other.For instance, would you even care what ZERO is , who invented it and devote great thought to it? I am sure you would say NO — or "why the heck should I care who invented zero!" Well, to us it isn't a biggie, but not to this Indian.:) In his P.O.V. the issue of ZERO is extremely important enough to make a "novelette" about it.On the other hand however, there is the pragmatist who wil says "what's so great in inventing ZERO? isn't that nothing? why should anyone be proud of inventing NOTHING?".He has a point too.

Tha is why POV is always an issue, even if it doesn't seem so.It seems that the human specie is truly unique and our POVs are as distinctive as our fingerprints.It makes us what we really are.Our POV's are "mirrors of our souls" more than our eyes. It is what makes us free to be me and you, and yet agree somehow.Or go to "WAR" over something that is not a biggie which also reflects our rather teenie-weenie POV.World history is filled with different POV stories which meant the LOSS of millions of lives.There is also TERRORISM which is an EVIL POV because it excuses murders of innocents who have different POVs.Reason, because they have their "own mind set so they must die".

What brought about this subject is a SITE where people exchange supposedly sane answers.But then again I learned that SANE depends on one's POV.

Here's an idea of what I mean. Have a LAUGH or the POV may be right that it was a mythical King Ravana who invented the airplane?But then again there is one's sane or insane POV which should be anchored in truth rather than delusion.

For someone to suddenly conclude, for instance, that the Holocaust was just a MYTH cannot be a RATIONAL POV. Such is a LIE, and that mean's not even being TRUE to ones own self. Having such a POV shows a rather defective soul.

Can we live with different point of views?

Have love and peace and all good news?

Be friends and not foes despite our woes?

Or shall we be haunted by the intolerant ghosts?

I only have you, you only have me -and love and life

or hate and death

Congee — Frugality Isn’t Cheap

Frugality doesn't make us "cheap", it makes us smarter. The thought suddenly struck me when after a sumptous lunch, there I was thinking about what to do with the chicken leftovers and some brown rice.

That was when I thought of Congee. Congee is common in Asia with lots of variations. I decided to boil the rice with no idea what I was doing at all, but I usually do things that way in the kitchen. I call it "spontaneous recipes" by the way.

Looking at the boiling rice, I decided to add a little chicken stock as if I knew exactly what I was doing plus onions and pepper. I cut the leftover chicken to little pieces ad added it to the boiling rice. I saw some green onions and celery so I cut it in little green pieces to make the "dish" look better. Then the usual salt and pepper to taste.

I thought it tasted really great but I had to be sure that my taste buds were not getting delusional!!! (LOL). Suddenly, my computer technician arrived to "fix" my latest HDD crash. I asked if he'd like a taste of "an asian exotic bowl meal" and he said that my invitation was "oh soo tempting" as he looked at the bowl. He tasted the concoction and remarked, "You must have been in some culinary school, this is very delicious!". He added that that it was even better than the one he from his favorite Asian restaurant. So, there I was, beaming at my cleverness, thinking that frugality doesn't always mean that you have to be cheap. Someone appreciated my "left-over" cooking.

That dinner, we all had the same meal. Everyone thought that it was the latest specialty of the Chinese restaurant. "This tastes better than Me. Lee's (fictional name) special rice and mushroom hot winter special!".

I lied, "Oh I ordered that frm him. It's a new thing and isn't it great?". He nodded in agreement and I got away with it. Now, I hope he doesn't call Mr. Lee for the same "special menu"
